We had a lovely experience, staff were very helpful and friendly both reception and in the bar. Rooms were gorgeous, food was delicious and the cocktails. Had a lovely experience, and mum loved the birthday card.

I have only visited Barony Castle for lunch. The venue is great, the food is inventive and tasty and the Staff are superb. What are you waiting for, book lunch, relax and enjoy.

The most beautiful place. Views are spectacular and the grounds of the castle amazing. Food we had was lovely and staff delightful.

The rooms and bathrooms are extremely dated. The service, location and food are all excellent!

Stay here was so nice the staff were excellent and a quiet nights sleep perfect!

We had lunch in the Blue Dug Bar area which was family and pet friendly for our 2 dogs. Definitely recommend, food was delicious and staff were lovely.

I took mum out for lunch and we had the best fish and chips ever. Very generous portions and great service. Will be back!

Beautiful place a nice cosy hotel with a great place to eat in.A little far off.

Great location and building. However, unless you book one of their suites, the rooms are very basic, and the public rooms are very tired looking. Not great value for money.

Fantastic place to unwind and relax. Friendly service, room was clean and cozy, amenities were amazing. We enjoyed the spa area too - pool is decent sized, sauna is well kept and spa pool was nice and relaxing. One of the comfiest beds ever! Would definitely stay again

Staff were so accommodating for the Tour of Britain, hugely appreciated.

We had our wedding at the barony on the 26th July 2024 and what a day it was.

We cannot thank Hannah and the staff at the barony hotel enough they went above and beyond for us and made our day so special.

I was a very nervous bride but Hannah was amazing with me any questions I had she was brilliant and helped in any way she could.

All our guests absolutely loved the meal adults and children’s dishes were fantastic.

Thank you so much for all yous did for us and we can’t wait to come back and celebrate our 1 year anniversary at the barony castle hotel

Just home from a wonderful weekend at Barony Castle. First time there so obviously didn’t know what to expect . But from arrival to departure the staff , service, food and cleanliness was fantastic. The facilities : pool , jacuzzi and gym are spotless.Attention to detail for the tribute show was great as was the DJ .All in all a beautiful place to visit and stay .Well done guys 10/10 👏👏👏

Extremely nice place in great location. Room was nice and comfortable, but a bit tired, as in veneers on furniture lifting creating sharp edges, marks on carpet, discoloured grouting in bathroom. Service was good and everything we needed was addressed. Perhaps a few more staff on serving in the dining room could help speed things up when busy. Overall though a nice stay.

Visited the Polish map of Scotland, did not go intothe hotel

Geordie Ramblers have been coming to Barony Castle for at least 12 -13 years and have seen many changes in that time but the one thing that never changes is the fantastic warm welcome we have always received. After a day hiking in the hills there's nothing better than to come back to the hotel pool for a swim and a drink in the bar before dinner or maybe a few! . The bar staff are lovely with nothing being too much trouble for them. The food is always good and to be honest I really don't know how they manage to do such good food for such large numbers. Special thanks to Katie for organising our stay and to Jeanette on reception for her friendliness and genuine interest in the walks we've done suggesting possibilities for next year because one thing is certain. We will be back!

Callum and I got married at Barony Castle Hotel on the 24th of May 2024.

We cannot fault the team at Barony who worked so hard to make our day as special as possible.

Despite the weather not being great and not managing to have the outdoor wedding we had initially planned, Hannah made sure we still had the most magical day indoors.

All the staff were extremely kind and well-organised. They definitely helped make our day as special as possible.

The food we had was amazing. We highly recommend the Thai Style Noodle Box for the evening buffet.
The kitchen was very accommodating of allergies and requirements. Both my husband and I are vegetarian. They went out of their way to accommodate us and allowed us to have two vegetarian options on our menu.

All of our guests were extremely happy with their rooms. Callum and I were extremely happy with our suites. 😍

We highly recommend Barony as a wedding venue or even somewhere to stop and have some lunch.

We are really looking forward to our one-year anniversary and having the pleasure of celebrating this at Barony.

Thank you again for all your help and support to plan and make our day as special as possible.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Barony Castle, and it was genuinely an unforgettable experience.

The venue's beauty, both inside and out, struck the perfect chord for our special day, giving a sense of elegance and intimacy that's hard to put into words.

The entire Barony Castle team deserves applause. Their friendliness and dedication meant that no request was too much, and they consistently went the extra mile for us.

We were particularly taken with the well-organised wedding packages on offer. Teaming up with top-notch suppliers, they managed to take the hustle and bustle out of our preparations, offering a surprisingly stress-free planning experience.

A special mention must be made about the food - from the starters right through to the desserts, everything was impeccable.

When it comes to making your big day magical and stress-free, Barony Castle is the perfect choice. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

I was with a friend for lunch,really friendly staff greeted us and helped us to our table, the menu was very limited as it was lunch time, I would assume there will be more choice on the dinner menu.
The food was well cooked and very tasty I really enjoyed my lunch, and the service.
