WE ARE NOT A MININUM WAGE EMPLOYER

We value the work that our employees do, whatever the job role. We don’t believe in ‘minimum age, minimum wage’ so we have a comprehensive pay structure that fairly compensates all employees whatever their age, with our future aim to be able to pay everyone the ‘Real Living Wage’. The Real Living Wage is the only rate calculated based on real living costs.

To allow us to reach this aim, we are staging changes and will continue to utilise an age banding structure to allow us to do this. However, the minimum rate we offer in our structure is that advised for those over the over the age of 21 in the National Minimum Wage (NMW), which we offer to all those aged 16-19.

Our minimum pay rates for entry level positions are:

All employees under the age of 20 receive £8.36 per hour, which is at least 27% but up to 80% more than the NMW dictates.
Employees aged 20-22 will receive at least £8.91 per hour (7-35% more than NMW).
Those over the age of 23 at least £9.20 per hour, within 3% of the ‘Real Living Wage’.

These pay rates are highly competitive in our industry but it is our belief that it is important to reward our employees with fair pay and to not use NMW structures as an directive rather than a guide to minimum pay.

Our aim is to recruit employees who thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment that would otherwise overlook the hospitality industry due to unsatisfactory reward.

  • £500 bonus paid via salary in month proceeding the completion of probationary period

  • Employees must be in employment with the company on, or prior to, 1st October and remain in continuous employment until 31st December 2021

  • £300 bonus is based on a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week from the employee and is pro-rated for employees working less hours per week

  • Bonus paid via salary in January 2022
