WE ARE NOT A MININUM WAGE EMPLOYER
In 2021 we started the process to bring the rates of pay for all members of staff in line with the ‘Real Living Wage’, the only rate calculated on real living costs. This year we are delighted to be able to say that we have reached our aim of compensating all employees over the age of 23 the Real Living Wage as a minimum entry level rate of pay.
All employees under the age of 23 are now paid up to 35% more than the National Minimum Wage, a real triumph in breaking the stigma of minimum wage in the hospitality sector.
We value the work that our employees do in every job role and we don’t believe in ‘minimum age, minimum wage’ so we believe our comprehensive pay structure fairly compensates all employees.

These pay rates are highly competitive in our industry but it is our belief that it is important to reward our employees with fair pay and to not use NMW structures as an directive rather than a guide to minimum pay.
