Our À La Carte menu is available in ‘Thomson’s at the Castle’ Restaurant from 18:00 every day

Shaws Fine Meats began life as a butcher shop in the Borders town of Lauder and was a finalist in ‘Britain’s Best Butcher’ 2008. The business was founded in 1828 and has subsequently been passed down the generations of the Shaw and Deans families. All livestock which is outdoor reared and free range is sourced directly (through St Boswells livestock auction market) from trusted farms within a 30 mile radius of the Lauder shop.
