Barony Castle is a great base from which to enjoy some beautiful walks in the Scottish Borders.  New paths are being opened up as the area becomes more and more well known for its stunning scenery, and the latest trail to be completed is the Pilots’ Trail through Cademuir Forest.

This two kilometre trail is the work of Forest Enterprise Scotland and boasts stunning 360 degree views of both the Tweed and Cademuir valleys.
